I have been teaching dance and movement to students ages five to seventy-five for over twenty years. I have performed in two Armenian Folkloric Ensembles, and taught folkloric dance. I have also studied and performed Flamenco. I teach with an imaginative approach that respects individual differences and encourages self-expression. I bring my rich dance background into the healing arts of Nia and Yoga.
Nia is a vital part of my physical and emotional well-being and I am passionate to share its healing potential with others. My students experience joy and dynamic ease in every class. I received my Nia Black Belt in 2008. In 2010, after a year-long intensive Yoga of Energy Flow training I received my 200 hour certification. I am a licensed and registered Yoga Alliance teacher.
