I have been teaching dance and movement to students ages five to seventy-five for twenty years. As Arpi Ayvazian I have performed in the Armenian Folkloric Ensemble, and taught folkloric dance. I have studied and performed Flamenco for years, a passionate and profound dance form. I teach with an imaginative approach that respects individual differences and encourages self-expression.
Nia is a vital part of my physical and emotional well-being and I am passionate to share its healing potential with others. My students express their joy and exuberance in class. I received my Nia Black Belt in 2008. In 2010, after a year-long intensive Yoga of Energy Flow training I received my 200 hour certification. I am a licensed and registered Yoga Alliance teacher.
